ENOCULTURE
Beginning of oenology in Europe.
Pre-phylloxera grapes
The pupils of the school society contributed our "grain of sand" by designing a project aimed at pupils at risk of school failure and, on the other hand, aimed at repopulating this empty Spain.
In our province there are many municipalities in which the inhabitants flee to the cities, abandoning vineyards and wineries and generating a depopulation with no possibility of return.
On the other hand, there are students who drop out of school in secondary education, students without training and without the knowledge that would allow them to enter the labour market
Based on these two problems, one option we have thought of is to revive an agricultural estate aimed at training these students at risk of dropping out of school in the wine sector, cultivating primeval vineyards of the Ribera del Duero DO. This farm will revitalise the area, generate activity and train students in the agricultural and oenological sector with the possibility of joining the labour market.
